Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (RN PCU)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care to individuals requiring step-down or intermediate care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the specialty, ready to collaborate with our healthcare professionals, and committed to delivering compassionate care.

Schedule

This position is for night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a schedule that may vary. The contract duration is 13 weeks.

Location

The position is located in a facility in the vibrant city of [City, State].

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Progressive Care or similar specialty.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
  • Experience in step-down or intermediate care settings is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
