Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse in a day shift role. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia, requiring clinical expertise in critical care and pediatric sedation. The role is suitable for licensed RNs with recent experience and appropriate certifications, supporting patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
    • License, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
    • Procedural Sedation Competency.
    • Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment.
    • Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment.
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in Outpatient settings.
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures.
  • Additional Information:

    • This role involves supporting patient recovery, monitoring vital signs, and providing sedation procedures in outpatient settings.
