Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing position is located in an acute care healthcare setting. This role involves providing specialized post-operative recovery care to patients, ensuring safety and stability during the immediate post-surgical period. The position offers daytime shifts, a structured schedule, and a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • License, Certification, Registration:
    • Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Procedural Sedation Competency
  • Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit settings
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in Outpatient settings
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
