Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing position is located in a healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the critical post-operative period.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • License, Certification, Registration: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • Procedural Sedation Competency
  • Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in the Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or PACU environment
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in Outpatient settings
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
• Additional Information:
  • Enabling skills-based hiring is indicated, and qualification assessment is required.
  • The position is scheduled to start on 09/30/2026 and end on 12/26/2026.
