Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Grayling, Michigan. This rotation role involves care across pre-operative, post-operative, and recovery (PACU) settings, with responsibilities including same-day surgery admissions, IV management, patient discharges, and patient education. The schedule includes variable days with rotating night shifts and weekends, with on-call duties on weekdays.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Variable days with rotating night call shifts, working 12-hour hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PACU nursing and scrubs will be provided when working in PACU.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The position involves working in a PACU setting, managing patient admissions, discharges, IVs, and providing patient education within a dynamic, rotation schedule.
