PACU Registered Nurse

Position Overview

This position is for a specialized role in an ambulatory surgery environment, focusing on peri-anesthesia care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule

  • 10-hour evening shifts
  • 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Unit Information

The unit comprises 25 beds with a total daily caseload of approximately 35 patients, primarily focusing on ambulatory surgical and procedural cases.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of clinical experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
  • Experience with EPIC patient management system is required
  • Prior travel experience is not necessary
  • Must be separated from any previous positions within the organization for a minimum of 6 months to be considered

Team Environment

The position involves collaboration with other staff and may include interaction with students and new hires. All team members, including travelers, are expected to contribute to a supportive culture, especially when engaging with these individuals.
