Job Details

• Position Description: Unit notes include PACU, Pre-operative, recovery, and GI laboratory duties. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, and PALS. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. The unit operates on 10-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or equivalent acute care setting.
• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The facility may cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment or three shifts for shorter periods. Shift work includes rotating weekends and two out of three major holidays. Call requirement is present. Scrub color is Navy. Staff may recover ICU patients in PACU. The charting system is Cerner.
