Schedule: Days, 4×10-hour shifts; 40 guaranteed hours weekly.
Education: ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred.
License: Current RN license in the state of practice.
Certifications:AHA BLS required; ACLS, NRP, or PALS depending on the unit.
Experience: Previous RN experience preferred; no minimum years specified.
Duties: Assess patients, develop and evaluate care plans, administer treatments, educate patients, and document care.
Floating: May float to other departments within competency.
On-call: May be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.
