Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery care for a diverse patient population, including inpatient, outpatient, and observation patients, both pediatric and adult. The position requires experienced registered nurses (RNs) capable of managing complex patient needs in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: PACU Nurse for a busy Level II Trauma Center with a 167-bed facility, providing care across Main and East PACUs with an average of 60-80 patients daily.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience with post-cardiac, post-cath, bronchs, or IR patients preferred.
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, set schedule, Monday through Friday.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CAPA or CPAN.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have experience in PACU with the ability to read/interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac gtts, and provide discharge instructions. Experience recovering post-cath, bronchs, or IR patients highly preferred. Floating between Phase I and Phase II recovery is required.
