Job Description & Requirements

PACU RN (Pre-Op & Recovery)

  • Start Times: Variable; 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM
  • Experience Required: 2 years of critical care experience
  • Charting System: Epic
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS

 

Schedule & On-Call Requirements

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week supporting both pre-op and recovery units.
  • On-call weekends every 4 weeks, covering both Saturday and Sunday for 12 hours.
  • Approximately 4–5 call shifts per four-week period, including weekends and holidays as applicable.
  • The nurse may work 12-hour shifts the week before and after an on-call weekend to balance the schedule.
  • Floating may be required to Same Day Surgery (SDS) or Pre-Admission Testing (PAT).
