Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Vermont.
Job Summary :
- Provide nursing care in Perioperative (Periop), Endoscopy (Endo), and Recovery (PACU)
- Must demonstrate high proficiency in Periop, Endo, and PACU specialties.
- Responsible for starting and maintaining IV lines.
- Care for patients in outpatient settings, specifically in Pre-op, Endo, and Recovery.
- Required to have at least 2 years of recent Outpatient PACU experience, plus Periop and Endo experience.
- Must be able to work overtime at regular pay rate (no OT multiplier), with holidays paid at 1.25x.
- Small hospital environment; previous experience in critical access facilities preferred.
- Required to have own vehicle for commuting.
- Documentation requirements: updated work history, recent skills checklists for PACU and Endo, a supervisory signed reference from the past two years, Vermont or Compact RN license, and current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
- Facility provides emergency, surgical, inpatient, and outpatient care, with a variety of specialty clinics and psychiatric services.
