Job Summary
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) based in Minnesota provides holistic care to patients recovering from anesthesia. This role involves delivering patient-centered care with a focus on assessment, planning, and evaluation to ensure safe and effective recovery. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes during the critical postoperative period.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required.
- Education: Minnesota state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Two years of critical care experience (Intensive Care Unit or Emergency Department) required, including previous PACU experience, trauma level I experience, pediatric and geriatric patient care, and Epic electronic health record familiarity.
- Work history: Candidates must list prior employment with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC on their resume.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Start date: 09/28/2026.
- End date: 12/28/2026.
- Submission requirements: Applicants must provide two supervisory references with dates of employment and document clinical skills pertinent to the specialty.
- Additional information: Candidates must possess the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and have a minimum of 0 years of experience. Previous travel experience is required.
