Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing high-quality care for post-operative adult and pediatric patients across various surgical specialties, including ICU, Catheterization Lab, Endoscopy, and Interventional Radiology. The role requires managing high acuity patients in a fast-paced, acute care environment with rotating shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for caring for all surgical specialties, including ICU, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and IR patients post-procedures. Utilizes equipment such as Epic charting, AcuDose Medication Dispensing, Phillips monitors, vents, and BiPap.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association, Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association; Valid RN license; 2 years of PACU experience; General hospital experience with large facilities (250+ beds).
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with varied weekend rotation; 36 hours minimum per week.
• Additional Information: Must be able to take Pediatric (PEDS) patients, handle high acuity cases, and have acute/hospital experience. Float to other units/departments may be required, including potential floating between campuses for Phase I PACU.
