PreOp/PACU/Pre-Post Cath and Procedural RN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PreOp/PACU/Pre-Post Cath and Procedural Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This role requires proficiency in the recovery of both adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PreOp, PACU, and Pre-Post Cath settings.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions post-anesthesia and during recovery.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families about postoperative care and recovery processes.
Assist in the preparation and management of various surgical procedures, including Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Urology, GYN, General surgery, Plastics, Endoscopy, and Ophthalmology.

Shift Information

Shifts are from 9 AM to 9 PM, with varying days required. Flexibility with schedule is essential. Holiday coverage is also required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing, specifically in PreOp and PACU settings.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
