**Travel PACU RN – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit**

**Location:** Hilo, Hawaii
⏳ **Contract:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Variable (8, 10 & 12-hour shifts)
**Schedule:** Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends & Holidays
**Hours:** No guarantee
**EMR:** EPIC

### **Job Requirements**
* Hawaii RN License by start date.
* Minimum 3 years PACU experience **OR** 3 years critical care RN experience (ER/ICU)
* Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
* PALS recommended and may be required
* Critical care and surgical nursing experience preferred

### **Key Responsibilities**
* Pre-op, Phase I & Phase II recovery care
* Monitor vital signs, incision sites, temperature, and patient stability
* Identify and respond to post-anesthesia complications
* Utilize PCA pumps, Pyxis, IV pumps, monitors, and other unit equipment

### **Additional Details**
* On-call: 0–3 times/month (8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays)
* Holiday coverage required
* No guarantee of hours or shift preference
* No mileage reimbursement
