Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Everett, Washington.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 10 hours, days, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

  • Shift:Days, 4x10s — 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • Contract:13 weeks
  • EMR:Epic — required
  • Floating:Yes — travelers may float to nearby sister facilities as needed
  • Experience:1+ year RN experience required
  • Weekend:Yes — approximately once every 3–4 weeks
  • Call:Yes — 1 primary + 1 secondary call shift every 4 weeks listed in unit notes; agency/per diem call language differs, so verify for this specific traveler assignment
  • Certifications:ACLS + BLS required; PALS preferred
  • Unit:29-bay PACU across 2 floors, recovering pediatric (1+), adult, and geriatric patients after procedures requiring anesthesia or spinal anesthesia
  • Case Mix:General, vascular, cardiac/CVL, orthopedic, neuro/spine, trauma, GI, IR, bariatric, ENT, plastics, pediatric, and gynecologic procedures
  • Specialty Cases:Watchman, TAVR, EP cases, and occasional pre-op ICU patients
  • Facility:Level II Trauma Center
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 70 OR/IR/CVL cases per day
  • Radius Rule:50 miles — locals are NOT accepted
  • License:Compact RN license must be in hand at submission
  • First-Time Travelers:Accepted
  • RTO: Must be submitted upfront; maximum 7 days
