Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No holiday expectations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; clinic or inpatient/acute care experience is acceptable
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Primary responsibilities include phone triage, in-basket management, and medication refills
• Administer adult vaccinations preferred
• May assist with rooming patients and obtaining vitals on occasion
• Start IVs for patients requiring IV fluids when needed (rare occurrence)
• Respond to emergency situations that occur within the clinic
• Work alongside medical assistants, patient care representatives, lead nurse, site supervisor, physical therapist, X-ray technicians, and a diabetic educator
• EMR system: EPIC preferred but not required for strong RN candidates
• IV pump equipment: Alaris
• No floating to other units
• Orientation provided working alongside lead RN for approximately one week with additional time available if needed
• Requested time off of 7 days is acceptable; days surrounding holidays require manager approval
• Required certification: BLS
• Scrub color: Any color
• Free parking available on site

Facility:

This family medicine clinic operates with 20 total exam rooms and sees approximately 60 to 80 patients per day. The facility serves a broad patient population ranging from birth to geriatrics, including some OB patients, with a mix of well visits, acutely sick patients, and chronic disease management cases. The clinic is supported by a multidisciplinary team and equipped with modern technology to ensure comprehensive, high-quality outpatient care.
