Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Title: Registered Nurse – PACU
Location: Columbus, OH 43210
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12s (19:00–07:00)

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required
  • Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at submission
  • Phase I PACU experience
  • Experience with general anesthesia, MAC, conscious sedation, spinal and nerve blocks
  • Experience with ventilated patients, IV vasopressors, pain management and cardiac monitoring
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager/director/supervisor
  • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program

Description:

  • 20-bed inpatient Phase I PACU
  • Patient population: Adults & Geriatrics
  • Patient ratio: 1:2
  • Self-scheduling
  • Potential weekend and holiday coverage
  • Surgery experience includes Bariatrics, Cardiac, ENT, General, Gyn, Neuro, Ophthalmology, Ortho and Vascular
  • Skills include EVD/ICP monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, PCA management, RASS and malignant hyperthermia protocols
  • 36 hours/week
