Job Summary
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position is available in a clinical setting. This role involves providing high-quality care to post-anesthesia patients, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff. The position requires a dedicated RN to ensure the safe recovery and monitoring of patients following surgical procedures.

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; two years of relevant experience; prior travel experience; no local candidates accepted

  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The position is for a contractor replacement with a start date of 10/05/2026 and end date of 12/27/2026. The RN will be responsible for providing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, following the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies. The RN is expected to demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. Responsibilities include delegating patient care priorities and supervising assigned personnel.
