PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) – Travel Contract | Glenview, IL
Favorite Healthcare Staffing is looking for an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (PACU RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Glenview, IL! This opportunity is ideal for candidates with at least three years of recent acute care hospital experience, a strong critical care PACU background, and at least one completed travel nursing assignment.
PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) Position Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Glenview, IL
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
- Shift & Schedule: Day shifts with rotating start times between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with PACU coverage ending at 8:30 PM
- Hours: 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts
- Floating Requirements: None
- On-Call Requirements: 3 weeknights (8:00 PM–7:00 AM) and one 24-hour weekend call shift per 6-week schedule
- Call-Back Requirement: Must be able to report within 30 minutes
- Holiday Requirements: As needed per call rotation
PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) Requirements:
- At least 3 years of solid acute care hospital nursing experience
- Critical care PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting required
- At least one completed travel nursing contract required
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Must have a passing EKG test score of 80% or higher at the time of submission
- Ability to meet on-call and 30-minute call-back requirements
