Registered Nurse (RN) - Peri Anesthesia

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Peri Anesthesia team. This role offers a dynamic work environment and is crucial in providing high-quality care to patients.

Position Details

  • Shifts: Variable between 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: One every 5-6 weeks
  • Call Requirements: Yes

Essential Qualifications

  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
  • A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Experience in a peri anesthesia setting is preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia equipment
  • Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential. This role may involve occasional floating to other departments, although this is rare.
