Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a day shift role requiring critical care experience and TN or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Recovery Room/PACU unit providing total patient care
  • Patient ratio ranges from 1:2 to 1:1
  • Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM-8:00 PM, 3x12s with flexibility required
  • Call requirements include one night per week (8:00 PM-7:00 AM) and one 24-hour weekend call (Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week schedule
  • No floating required
  • No block scheduling
  • Uses Cerner-SurgiNet EMR
  • Scrubs provided

Requirements

  • Active RN license (TN or compact) required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • Critical care experience required (PACU, ICU, or ED)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty required
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not considered
  • RTO requests must be less than 1 week
  • Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
