Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse (RN) position is located in the Denver metropolitan area. This temporary assignment offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing specialized post-operative recovery care. The role is ideal for experienced RNs with a personal drive to support patient recovery following anesthesia.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current hospital PACU experience of at least 1 year, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pre-operative experience; upbeat personality suitable for a high-energy and fast-paced environment
  • Additional Information: This position involves working in a unit with 15 beds, a staff of 35 members, utilizing GE monitors, and Meditech electronic medical records. Candidates should demonstrate a positive attitude and adaptability to the unit's dynamic setting.
