Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in a Level II Trauma Center. This position involves providing specialized care to postoperative patients, including those recovering from anesthesia, surgeries, and procedures. The role requires flexibility and the ability to manage a diverse patient population across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups. The assignment offers a high-volume clinical environment, following ASPAN standards and working within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of PACU experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and experience with ambulatory/outpatient, inpatient, or pre-post care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience, community hospital experience, and trauma level II experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing patients undergoing vascular, general, orthopedic, pediatric, urology, gynecology, neuro/spine, podiatry, ophthalmology, thoracic, trauma, bariatric ENT, oral, plastics, cardiovascular lab, and interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must be willing to work three major holidays and adhere to all scheduling and RTO requests submitted upfront. Candidates should be prepared to support a patient census of 80-100 daily, across a facility with 571 total beds on both campuses, following ASPAN standards and utilizing EPIC electronic medical records.
