First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Saginaw, Michigan.

Maintain adequate respiratory and cardiac status in patients waking from anesthesia. Continually assess patients, carry out physician orders, and keep patients safe and comfortable.

 Key Duties

  • Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing care per the physician-authorized plan of care and accepted nursing standards (30%)
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, transfers, and responding to alarms (30%)
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the team to update the plan of care (20%)
  • Process and carry out physician orders accurately and on time (10%)
  • Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications (10%)

 Requirements

  • 2+ years of PACU experience
  • Active Michigan RN license (must be active)
  • Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS

 Profile Must Include

  • Work history
  • PACU skills checklist, current within 1 year
  • 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years
  • LARA and/or Nursys verification showing an active Michigan license
  • AHA BLS and ACLS documents
