Job Summary
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Michigan. This position involves maintaining the respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia. The role includes continuous assessment of patients, executing physician orders, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during recovery.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role entails maintaining adequate respiratory and cardiac function for patients recovering from anesthesia. It requires continuous patient assessment, execution of physician orders, and ensuring safety and comfort.
• Required Qualifications: Active Michigan license; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; minimum of 2 years PACU experience; work history skills checklist current within 1 year pertaining to PACU; completion of 2 supervisory reference forms within the last two years; shift schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week; start date: 10/26/2026, end date: 01/25/2027.
• Additional Information: This position requires experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), including patient assessment, medication administration, treatments, transfers, and response to alarms. Certification in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
