Travel Nurse RN - Outpatient Surgery - $1,425 per week in Los Angeles, CA

HC2 Neurology Clinic, providing coverage for the Neuromuscular Division Job Title: RN Coordinator Target Start Date: ASAP Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual attire Required Triage experience, preferably with ALS, muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, neuropathy, or other neuromuscular patient populations Ambulatory neurology or specialty clinic experience Knowledge of neuromuscular medications, infusion therapies, and symptom management Preferred: Experience caring for patients with ALS, myasthenia gravis, CIDP, muscular dystrophy, or other neurological disorders Experience managing insurance denials, prior authorizations, specialty medications, and peer-to-peer reviews Experience using Cerner electronic medical record Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities: Triage patient voicemails, urgent calls, and Cerner messages for patients with ALS and other neuromuscular disorders Assess patient symptoms and communicate clinical concerns, care needs, and treatment recommendations to providers Coordinate patient care including referrals, diagnostic testing, infusion services, durable medical equipment (DME), and specialty pharmacy needs Complete patient-related forms and letters, including disability, FMLA, DMV, insurance, and medical necessity documentation Assist providers with in-office procedures, including skin biopsies and lumbar punctures, while providing patient education and post-procedure follow-up BLS & CA RN Lic
