Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are evidence-based and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes clinical decision-making, critical thinking, and creativity across all phases of the nursing process. Responsibilities include coordinating and providing direct patient care, conducting nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments, facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges, delivering patient and family-centered education, and developing individualized treatment plans. The RN actively participates in quality improvement activities and promotes a positive, healing environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration Provider Card.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with care team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and applications or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous nursing experience.

Required Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
