Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of ambulatory care, outpatient nursing, or clinic RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Experience in primary care, specialty clinic, or a similar outpatient setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills
• Comfort working in a collaborative physician-partnered care model
• Ability to float between nearby clinic locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and support smooth daily clinic flow
• Handle telephone triage, direct patient calls, and MyChart message support
• Assist with medication refills, imaging authorizations, FMLA support, and scheduling
• Prepare patients for visits, procedures, and follow-up care in an outpatient surgery clinic
• Support minor office procedures, exams, and post-operative phone calls
• Perform high-level disinfection, clean and stock exam rooms, and maintain readiness for patient care
• Provide patient education and surgery teaching with a compassionate, professional approach
• Collaborate closely with physicians and medical assistants to deliver seamless ambulatory care
• Support travel between primary and satellite clinic locations when needed
