#### Job Description
- **Position:** Travel RN - J6 Orthopedics
- **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- **Location:** Asheville, NC (509 Biltmore Avenue)

- **Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 32 individual rooms
- **Number of Staff:** 50
- **Night Shift Staff:** 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC
- **Patient Ratios:** Night Shift (6:1 stretch to 7:1)
- **Daily Responsibilities:**
- Deliver compassionate care to orthopedic patients
- Perform dressing changes and suture/staple removals
- Manage Foley catheter placement and NG tubes
- Maintain and remove wound vacs
- **Essential Qualifications:**
- Valid NC RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Proven hospital experience
- Orthopedic care expertise
- **Equipment Used:**
- Vital sign machines, walkers, and specialized lifts for patient care
- EMR: Cerner
