Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience and prior travel experience required. The ideal candidate will join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment that provides care to patients ranging from adulthood through geriatrics, including orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• Shift Timing: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 29-bed unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Assume Charge RN duties as needed and effectively lead the nursing team.
• Manage care for high-volume patient populations, including those who have undergone total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
• Support moderate-volume patient populations, including those requiring surgical procedures and inpatient medical care.
• Utilize on-unit physical therapy gym facilities to enhance patient recovery without the need for relocations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including prior travel experience.
• Charge RN experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
