Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Surgery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic care and demonstrate the ability to float to various units based on skill set when needed.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 3x12 Night Shifts (18:45 - 07:15)
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (subject to change based on need)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the orthopedic surgery unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, using the Omnicell medication system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Float to different units as required based on competencies and staffing needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a multi-state license.
  • EPIC experience is required.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
  • Experience in teaching and community hospitals is preferred.
  • First-time travelers will not be accepted.

Additional Information

This position requires flexibility and adaptability to cover various needs within the unit. The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
