Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend required, floating to similar units based on skill set as needed
Highlights:
- 30-bed unit with daily census of 15-20 patients, serving adult and geriatric populations
- Patient ratio of 1:6, working with diagnoses including bariatric surgery, bowel obstruction, ortho trauma, total joint replacement, and short stay (23-hour) patients
- EPIC electronic medical records system with Omnicell medication management
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- 13-week contract with reimbursement available for pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours)
- Two blocks of pre-approved time off available
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
- At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Experience in teaching and community hospital settings preferred
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Skills in central line management, PICC line care, peripheral IV management, blood product administration, feeding tube care, colostomy/ileostomy management, and telemetry monitoring
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
