Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Ortho) – Colorado

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6. Travel assignment.
Highlights:
- 30-bed orthopedic unit caring for both elective orthopedic and trauma patients
- Collaborative team environment with 1 charge nurse, 4–6 bedside RNs, and 2–4 patient care techs per shift
- Specialized equipment includes CPM machines for specialty surgeries, nerve block pumps, and On-Q pain management systems
- EMR system: Meditech
- Dedicated nursing team focused on delivering excellent patient experience and quality outcomes
- Diverse patient population offering varied clinical experience
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ortho RN in an acute care hospital setting (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Med/Surg experience (preferred)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Meditech experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in IV starts, Foley/straight catheterization, CPM application, and early mobilization techniques
