Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedic/Medical Unit – Colorado

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Patient ratios: 4:1 for Spine patients, 5:1 for Orthopedic patients. Working on an 18-bed unit with a collaborative team including charge nurses, RNs, and patient care technicians.

Highlights:

  • Specialized orthopedic and spine medical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
  • Experience with diverse case mix including central line care, blood transfusions, catheterization, epidurals, and PCAs
  • Utilize Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation and care coordination
  • Work with advanced equipment including telemetry monitors, epidural pumps, PCA devices, ice machines, and Sara Steady patient transfer systems

Requirements:

  • Current Colorado RN license or compact state license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital experience in Orthopedic nursing required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
  • Spine unit and/or Medical-Surgical experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and specialized orthopedic equipment
