Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Tennessee

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend required, patient ratio up to 1:6
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with 30 beds and daily census of 15-20 patients
- Adult and geriatric patient population with diverse case mix including ortho trauma, total joint replacements, bariatric surgery, and short stay management
- Epic EMR system with Omnicell medication dispensing system
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more
- 13-week assignment with potential for extension based on facility needs and eligibility requirements
- Paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursed)
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee RN license or compact multistate license
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical or Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Teaching and community hospital experience strongly preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Proficiency in IV management, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, feeding tube care, and telemetry monitoring
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
- Willingness to float to like units based on skill set as needed
