Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro/Ortho – South Texas
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Coastal Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts available on both day and night shifts. Day shift includes 1 free charge nurse, 1 unit coordinator, 3 PCTs, and 5 RNs. Night shift includes 5 RNs and 1 PCT. Patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1.

- Equipment includes Baxter IV Pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps

- Manage diverse patient populations with neuro and ortho diagnoses
- Opportunities to develop advanced skills including chest tube management and weight-based heparin drips
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas or eligibility for licensure
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Current ACLS certification (required)
- General medical/surgical nursing competencies
- Meditech experience (preferred)
- Telemetry experience (preferred)
- Experience managing chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight-based heparin drips (preferred)
