Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro/Ortho – South Texas

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Coastal Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts available on both day and night shifts. Day shift includes 1 free charge nurse, 1 unit coordinator, 3 PCTs, and 5 RNs. Night shift includes 5 RNs and 1 PCT. Patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1.

• Equipment includes Baxter IV Pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps

• Manage diverse patient populations with neuro and ortho diagnoses
• Opportunities to develop advanced skills including chest tube management and weight-based heparin drips

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or eligibility for licensure
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• General medical/surgical nursing competencies
• Meditech experience (preferred)
• Telemetry experience (preferred)
• Experience managing chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and weight-based heparin drips (preferred)
