Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro/Ortho – Texas

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day or Night shift available; 6:1 patient ratio (occasionally 5:1); 25-bed Neuro/Ortho unit with dedicated charge nurse, unit coordinator, and PCT support

Highlights:
  • Specialized Neuro/Ortho unit caring for diverse patient populations requiring skilled post-surgical and medical management
  • Modern equipment including Baxter IV Pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps
  • Meditech EMR system utilized throughout the facility
  • Opportunity to work with weight-based heparin drips, non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips, and chest tube management
  • Collaborative team environment with 40+ experienced staff members
  • Professional dress code: Royal blue scrubs
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • General med/surg competencies required
  • Meditech EMR experience preferred
  • Telemetry experience preferred
  • Experience managing chest tubes, cardiac drips, and weight-based heparin drips preferred
