Travel Nurse RN - Orthopedics - $1,654 to $1,838 per week in Knoxville Region, TN

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit during night shift hours
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Document patient care and clinical information accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed to support census demands
• Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on operational need
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic or a similar specialty
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both teaching and community hospital settings
• Familiarity with orthopedic patient populations and post-surgical care
