Job Title: RN - Orthopedic
Location: Maryville, TN
Schedule / Job Type:
Contract | Nights | 3x12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend coverage expected (subject to change based on need)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit during night shift hours
Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
Document patient care and clinical data accurately using EPIC EMR
Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed to support census demands
Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
Participate in orientation and fulfill annual compliance requirements as scheduled
Required Qualifications:
Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic nursing
Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
Must not be a first-time traveler
Must live more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be fully eligible; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience in both teaching and community hospital settings
Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
