Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: Rotating day/evening schedule (pattern is typically three day-shifts plus one off-shift: 0845–1915, 1045–2115, or 1245–2315). Target start date: October 19, 2026 (bi-weekly orientations on Mondays). Contract length: 16–26 weeks.
- Tiered Pay Rates: Rates are tiered based on mileage measured by direct line (Travel: 101+ miles; Radius: 51–100 miles; Local: 50 miles or less).
- Call Requirements: One weekday call per week plus one 24-hour call in each four-week schedule block.
- Holiday & Scheduling Rules: Must work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). No block schedules allowed for any reason.
- Transportation Note: Public transportation is not accessible; a personal or rental vehicle with all-season/snow tires (required November–April) is strongly recommended.
Key Facility Policies & Submission Mandates
- Work History & Gaps: All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. The facility strictly requires all work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be fully completed upon submission.
- Checklists: Both circulate AND scrub skills checklists must be included in the submission packet.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Prior travel nursing experience and a minimum of 2 years of OR experience required.
- Facility Background:Must have large (500+ beds) Level I Trauma Center experience.
- Charting:Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
- Clinical Skills: General OR background with strong competencies in ortho, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma (both scrub and circulate skills required).
- Licensure: Active Vermont (VT) RN license or multi-state compact RN license in hand.
- Certifications: AHA BLS required at submittal.
