  • Within the Guidelines of CA law
• Float Requirements: None
• On Call Requirement: on call required
  • Required: 2 days in a 4-week given period
• Certs: ACLS, BLS, Fire Card
• License: Active CA RN License
  • If the CA License has expired, it will need to be renewed
  • If applying for a CA License, please contact the Senator's office to expedite the application
• Experience:
  • Required Work Experience: 1 Year of unit experience and 2 years of RN experience
  • Circulator and scrub are highly preferred
  • Volume- We typically run 50-55 cases a day, varies.
  • Adults and Peds
  • Proficient in neuro craniotomy and spine (not just simple craniotomy or simple laminectomy), ortho, EENT such as airways like micro laryngoscopy, bronchoscopy for both adult and peds.
  • Common cases: General, Ortho, Neuro, GYN, GU, Robotics, ENT, Vascular etc. Department has every service except Cardiac.
  • Travel Experience preferred, however, not required
