Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nursing professional located in an undefined facility setting. This position involves providing direct patient care within a surgical environment, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) duties. The role requires versatility to function effectively across multiple areas, supporting a variety of surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week. The position involves rotational call responsibilities, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with general working hours from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and occasional late days to complete surgical caseloads.
• Required Qualifications: Must be an RN with current licensure in the relevant state. A minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-operative, operating room, or post-anesthesia care unit settings is preferred. Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). CNOR certification and scrub experience are preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting care, providing emotional support, coordinating transfers, recovering patients, circulating cases, assisting with processing instruments and equipment, and preparing patients for surgery. The candidate should have an interest in technical procedures and adhere to infection control policies established by relevant national standards organizations. The role involves long periods of standing and walking, heavy lifting, and exposure to blood and body fluids in a high-stress environment.
