Job Details
- Position: Operating Room Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 11/09/2026
- End Date: 02/28/2027
- Schedule: Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled on Monday; no block schedules are permitted. The work schedule includes coverage from Monday through Sunday, with the need for flexibility to meet the unit and patient care demands.
- Qualifications:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required
- A minimum of 2 years of OR experience is required
- Strong proficiency in ortho and eye service lines; general, ortho, and GYN experience preferred
- Scrubbing highly preferred; circulating nurse experience acceptable if strong
- Epic electronic medical record experience from the past 2 years is required
- Must be flexible with schedule, including every other weekend and on-call every 3-5 weekends as needed
- Additional Information:
- Must ensure all employment history is complete, including bed count, EMR experience, and facility type
- Candidate must have reliable transportation, personal, or rental vehicle, especially during November to April due to weather conditions
