Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

The position entails providing nursing care in the outpatient surgery unit. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, collaborating with a dynamic healthcare team, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

• Shifts: Day, 10-hour shifts from 06:40 to 17:10
• Days: Monday - Friday
• No weekends or holidays
• Rotating days off each week

Qualifications

• Current RN license required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Experience in the Operating Room (OR) is required
• Inpatient or ambulatory OR experience is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and care post-discharge
