REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: -
Active IL license
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?): "BLS - Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois. Current American Heart Association HealthCare" - Common Cases Several specialties that include general, GYN, urology, plastics, robotics, neuro, ortho, spine, EENT, & cardiothoracic - Experience or 'Must have' skills: At least 3 years of OR nursing experience Scrubbing required - RNs - Is there a Charge Nurse &/or House Supervisor on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Charge RN 24/7, they do not take a patient assignment but can help in a room when needed OR techs?: Yes - surgical techs: 1-2 per patient; CNAs: 3-4 on days & go down to 1 by 7p - help clean rooms EMR Epic - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 8Hr shifts with various start times - 0645, 1045, 1445 - Weeknight/Call Requirements: Call - approximately once per week - Weekend/Call Requirements: Call - every 3rd to 4th weekend - Holiday/Call Requirements Call - What is call response time? - Floating Requirements: None - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs are provided. Casual professional dress to enter/leave the facility - Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 week
