Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Circulator

This position is responsible for providing expert, compassionate nursing care to patients and their families. The role involves collaborating with providers, staff, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily patient flow to enhance care quality, safety, and satisfaction.
• Utilize triage skills for incoming patient requests for services.
• Deliver patient education to support care plans, informed healthcare choices, and wellness promotion.
• Delegate care appropriately and in accordance with state statutes.
• Exhibit proficient healthcare assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking abilities.
• Manage high volumes of patient communication regarding medications, information, and assistance.
• Administer medications, conduct treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care with external physician practices and relevant healthcare providers to achieve high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Utilize Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patient safety, preferences, and effective communication alongside patients and their families.
• Model principles of a Just Culture and uphold organizational values.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.

Shift Information

• 3x12 day shifts required.
• Holiday coverage required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or a valid compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
