Job Summary
An Operating Room (OR) Nurse is needed in the area to join a healthcare team providing specialized surgical care. This role involves assisting in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining adherence to aseptic techniques. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries.

Job Details

  • Certifications: BLS and current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required at the time of submission.
  • Education/Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in operating room nursing, including experience with Da Vinci robotic surgeries, trauma, orthopedic, and neuro cases. Travel experience and current operating room experience are required.
  • Schedule: 12-hour day shift, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Requirements: Must have experience with complex surgical equipment (endoscopic, laser, ENT, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, neuro, general, thoracic, urology, vascular).
  • Testing: Pass/Fail ECG/Telemetered test (dysrhythmia and medications tests) to be completed within 48 hours of offer, with an 85% passing score.
  • Responsibilities include working knowledge of aseptic techniques, operating complex surgical equipment, and supporting a variety of surgical types.
  • RN candidates must provide availability for interview at the time of submission and should be prepared for immediate testing upon offer.
