Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of operating room nursing experience with general surgery, gynecology, urology, and ENT cases
• EPIC experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts with call and weekend rotation
• Comfort working in a high-volume surgical environment
• Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be able to pass required screening and comply with onboarding requirements

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the operating room for a variety of surgical cases
• Support procedures including lap chole, lap colon, lap appy, cysto, robotic, hysterectomy, vascular, ENT, and urology cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and the OR team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Prepare patients and maintain a sterile, organized, and responsive operating room environment
• Assist with call coverage and weekend assignments as scheduled
• Float to other surgery teams or SPD when qualified and needed
• Deliver high-quality care while adapting to a dynamic surgical schedule in a fast-paced acute care setting
